Hello Bsky! 👋 I’m a senior software engineer working in the emerging AR/VR/XR fields. In my spare time, I dabble in artistic and technical side projects, touching all mediums, from paint and clay to servos and solenoids in an effort to find that elusive balance between Science and Art. 🎨🧪

I think I'm starting to get more comfortable with a brush pen now. It's always intimidating putting down the first stoke, but by the time I finish a piece, I'm super loose with it 😂

#Weretober #wip for the next few days. Going to see if I can get ahead by doing the lineart first and hitting color if/when time allows.

I'm back working on Primrose #TTRPG illustrations, which should be available in the near future to play.

One of my favourite thing to get from clients is a rough sketch. Even stick figures works great!
A quick sketch, red on white, of two characters. On the left is a standing rabbit looking pensively down to the character on the right, a rat, leaning against a barrel, pointing and with a squinty expression. Fully rendered black and white drawing of two characters, both anthropomorphized animals. On the left is a rabbit in fancy gear, a sabre at his hip, and a hand under his chin, contemplating. He's speaking to a much smaller rat who leans against a barrel. He has a pirate aesthetic, casual pose, expression like he's trying to sell the rabbit something.

Day 8 -- Clockwork

Automatons by no means needed to be ornamental, but artisans of the deep woods didn't tend to understand concepts like "too much."
A deerlike anthro fella sits among jars of pigment and paintbrushes, closely focusing on painting filigree on the head of a yet-to-be-assembled automaton, which resembles a horned deer wearing goggles

What if I sketched a kobold with the watercolor brush, huh? What then?

Can’t believe it’s already been 3 years… I was heavily inspired by Kim Jung Gi when I was getting into inking more and wouldn’t have developed my style the way it is without studying his work endlessly. Posted these over in X earlier and wanted to share here too
