I read that entire “Public Safety Saga” of the Chainsaw Man manga until 5am in the morning. I won’t tell you how exhilarating it is or which parts I gasped coz Makima is listening

The beef between two Japan content creators… Tokyo always has been like that for years. If you’re observant enough, things are still as they were. It’s just masked very well by tourists & shiny new things. But that doesn’t mean things are on the decline just becoz you see some graffiti on the walls

I love video essays like this. My attention span for retro gaming is notoriously fickle. I would play those beautifully pixelated games for a few days until I’m distracted by some new anime or hobby, only to return months later to start the same games from the level 1 again

I’m watching this new Korean makeup competition show called Just Makeup and sometimes I wish I was better at doing makeup. I don’t have issues with my skin coz my mom used to drag me to her facial sessions when I was a kid. That made me too lazy to fully learn all the techniques. I’m still lazy lol

Just watched Tron: Ares and the lack of Tron is concerning. It also works best as an extended NIN concert movie with brilliant visuals and music, sprinkled with some barely-there musings about technological advancements and ethics. Wasted potential? Found the last copy of the November issue special edition of MonoMaster (モノマスター) at the Kinokuniya bookstore! The magazine features a section on the PlayStation 30th anniversary and it comes with a set of PS1-inspired accordion-style wallet and squishy controller keychain! So cute!

[Not sponsored] If there’s one thing I would recommend for tourists in Japan to buy is the Kyusoku Jikan cooling leg patches (LION足すっきりシート休足時間). It’s really good for after a long day of walking and trust me, you’ll be walking A LOT

Why did it take me so long to discover Secrets of the Silent Witch (サイレント・ウィッチ沈黙の魔女の隠しごと)? I adore and therefore I must protecc this silly Bocchi the witch! Also, omg, both the OP and ED songs, “Feel” and “mild days” respectively, are by my favourite band of the moment, Hitsujibungaku!
