Heyford & Bicester Veterans Group meets every month to support Armed Forces veterans, reservists and their families.

Our Armed Forces Champion Cllr Rob Pattenden and housing officers regularly attend and today we were delighted to be joined by a group of Chelsea pensioners and Calum Miller MP.

142 out of 158 councillors in five councils have backed two councils as the best solution for reorganising local government.

We were asked for options on how the current two-tier council system of district and county council could be replaced with single tier unitary councils.

Works are getting way to extend the RSPB’s existing site at Otmoor, creating the district’s second habitat bank, an area set aside for nature recovery.
