We are starting a fundraiser for this poor girl. For the first time since coming to this auction for years, a horse trader has owner surrendered a horse to us. This means we did not have to pay for the horse, he surrendered this baby to us. This is a great step moving forward, as we have always had to pay upwards of $500 for horses that we knew had little to no chance of survival. I always choose to focus on the good, and here we’re going to focus on the fact that this man could have sent her through the sale and made a profit today, but instead he came to me and asked if we would take her in. The name Darla popped in my head as I spent time with her in the pen. She was stepped on by her mother. We need to get her to the vet and get x-rays done on her front right leg to see if this is salvageable at her young age, or if she needs a Last act of kindness. Please consider donating to our little darling Darla. Let’s pray for a miracle for this girl, she needs one.
