Interestingly, it originated in Tunisia, but today Boukha Bokobsa is produced in France... which is where Belloq is from. So, it may well have been his "family label"... ;)

TIL that the liquor enjoyed by Marion and Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark is probably a type of Boukha, the national drink of Tunisia. Specifically, Boukha Bokobsa - a clear, unaged brandy made from Mediterranean figs.

It's good to see turnout like this at places that aren't liberal bastions. Like... it's not surprising to see huge crowds in places like NYC and San Francisco. Low turnout there would surprise me. Knowing that people are turning out in Red states like Idaho (the state of my birth) is a good thing!

One of the coolest fight scene moments for me is in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indy and a big bruiser are locked up, and Toht says "Shoot them... shoot them both." The bruiser points Indy's revolver at the Nazi preparing to shoot both of them, and Indy wastes no time in shooting his ass. :D
