Agreed, and the SC are the purest definition of minority rule, already in the ruling class and have plenty of money from their billionaire friends to boot. Why would the economy matter to those insulated both with cash and lifetime appointments?

Oh STFU. Yes your taxes "stay the same" because the top income rate is extended from the cut off period in the original bill. It's still a choice and the choice is lower taxes on the rich.

If I'm reading what you're saying we can already do a human brain and that's scarier than I thought because because I'd argue it's then inevitable that we will do a room full of NASA scientist equivalent in my lifetime let alone a newborn's lifetime.

Sorry, days later. Forgive me but I'm not good at order magnitude discussions. How much has the computer that put humans on the moon evolved to today's AI machine learning dedicated GPUs? That's got to be a number of orders of magnitude, no? It also hasn't been a linear curve I believe.
