Too many CISOs are out of touch. Millions on vendors & dashboards, but won’t send teams to conferences where real knowledge is shared. Relying on certs ≠ proof of skills.

One major gripe with #GrrCon: during the opening speech they said they’re ONLY on Twitter. Meanwhile much of Infosec has left, and cons like #BSides & #DEFCON are on Bluesky, Mastodon, & Discord. Meet the community where it is. #Infosec #Cybersecurity

Hotel TV remote wasn’t programmed 🙄 Didn’t feel like waiting on the front desk, so I just used my Flipper for power & volume. That makes both #GrrCon & #DEFCON trips where I’ve had to hack hotel TVs just to watch them. 😂 #HackThePlanet

Meshtastic has a good amount of users at #GrrCon not nearly the numbers of DEFCON or Hamvention, but enough for some conversations happening, but I did have to ignore 1 node for spamming #Radio #Cybersecurity #InfoSec
