I just turned 69. I've seen some good governance and some bad governance in my days. I've been paying attention. I've been reading, watching and listening. Right now, the US is in big trouble. The protest poster I made for No Kings II in October read simply: "America you're under reacting".

In a Florida hotel room. I had a few bottles of OJ and offered one to the Hispanic maid. She didn't speak English, but kindly refused my offer. I left and returned later to find 5 or 6 bottles of OJ in the frig. She thought I was asking "for" them. I think of her gentleness vs ICE.

Trump is an amalgam of everything bad that America has traditionally tried to correct or cover up. It's like we're just said"fuck it" and decided to become a racist, corrupt, ignorant bully.
