After that's done, if I've got it in me, I'll be participating in Novembear (or novemdeer - whatever it'll be), and trying to make another game jam VN!

It'll probably be shorter than One Last Week was, and DEFINITELY less heavy and taxing to get through, but I'm looking forwards to making it!

Quick update on where I'm at with VN stuff!

I haven't stopped working on Solstice Eve - currently, the plan is to release Build 3 during mid-late October!

In the meantime... here's a new background from the build! Looks like we're taking a trip beyond the boundaries of Isonburg!

As for why - basically I realized that it's odd that a casual attitude regarding sex and hookups is a pretty integral part of who Cantor is as a character and yet I skipped over probably the best way to properly explore that part of his character.

More seriously, after thinking over it, I've decided to swap out the fade to black at the end of build 1 with an actual sex scene - in part because it'll be fun to draw the CGs, in part because I think it'll improve the story.

Funny to think that the backgrounds were the thing I was most scared of drawing going into Solstice Eve, and now they're the part of the game's art I'm happiest with
