We invite you, over the next few months of ordinary time, to join us on a journey to find the extra in the ordinary. To reflect on those aspects of Evensong which seem ordinary but are extraordinary.

We're very excited about the new Channel 5 series, MURDER BEFORE EVENSONG, which starts tomorrow (7/10) at 9pm.

IMPORTANT: For those less familiar with Evensong, please be aware it is not usually preceded by murder, but by a nice organ prelude.

For more info on Evensong, visit choralevensong.org.

Heartening news out of Lichfield Cathedral, where primary-school children came to sing with the choristers.

"Mrs Lamb was struck by their responses to the Magnificat and the Nunc Dimittis. The children were asked how it made them feel. One told her: 'It was like God was singing through my voice.'"
Education: Can singing evensong encourage pupils to engage in worship?
