Hidden #Dethkomic Lore: Sparkles is the only member of the Dethkomic main cast who is of legal drinking age and has never been implied to have partaken in alcohol or drug use. After several people pointed this out to the author, "straight-edge Sparkles" was embraced as canon.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of mine and Ken's friend, Dan Drazen. A big name in the Sonic fandom for years, as well as a pioneer of online Sonic communities. A talented writer, dedicated to his work, and a man of great faith, I am comforted knowing he is reunited with his wife.

RIP Dan Drazen. I 1st met Dan at the Motor City Con back in the 90s, corresponded with him many times, only to learn now he passed just before receiving the copy of the KNUCKLES OMNIBUS I sent him featuring the Foreword I asked him to write.

In so many ways, yes! Mostly, I just wanted to have a vague tie to the idea that the world where Varulv takes place is *not* Earth, but the mythos are heavily borrowed... as is the world. :)
