I've never felt so strongly about it but I think it's also because people are actually vitriolic about an ending that wasn't predictably satisfying. Anyway it'll be the last I talk about it (unless you ask me teehee)

Every time I see a hades 2 opinion I have to stop myself from chiming in LMAO like ... forgiving doesn't mean forgetting, and they also didn't forgive either 💀 I hate the black and white perception of forgiveness bro you'd rather they hold a grudge and let it eat at them than to grow past it

Plus, where I think the epilogue is going I think it would be far more interesting than the first game.

And the individual relationships with each character are already deeper than the first games which pull me into each person a lot. I think that's where it shines the most story wise

The more I think about the base game ending of H2 the more I actually like it! The nature v nurture of it is interesting to me and mightve stuck more with the wider audience if they sprinkled way more of that in the dialogue earlier in the game.

I don't want to spoil, and I admit, they spoke of certain themes that I thought were going to be more prominent in the whole story, but it's always been surface level family issues on a godly scale lol..

oop im noticing people kinda hating on the hades 2 ending and while I can understand why, i have the exact same feelings I did with the first lmao. Some things felt too convenient in the first, and in the second too, but idk.. with Mel, I think it feels very "tragedy".
