This gnarled old tree in the forest has lost most of its bark. The branches are twisted and bent into interesting contortions, and the roots are exposed. The surrounding forest floor is covered in low plants that are covered in leaves.

I am fairly good at guesstimating camera to subject distance when it matters, so not sure why I spent the money. My other cameras have built in focussing aids (rangefinder or SLR/TLR). May sell it on before too long.

I bought a combined laser rangefinder and exposure meter. It is an L.D. Meter from CHI. Here it is on my Zeiss Ikon Nettar 517/16. The meter works well, but the red laser dot can be hard to see, especially in bright light. It may be out of place on a 70 approx. year-old camera. #folderweek

The choice is simple for me because I only own one folder, at least for now. I will be using my Zeiss Ikon Netter 517/16 for #folderweek
