The Military Law of War manual specifically refers to orders to fire upon the shipwrecked as a war crime that is “clearly illegal.” And if not refused, everyone is guilty of war crimes.

This isn’t open for interpretation. This is in the manual, rule 18.3.2.1.

I love how certain police officers, people paid by the public to support the public irrespective of ability to pay, are complaining that Mamdani is a socialist. Like, Honey, what do you think you do?

I always thought raving would lead to a life of lascivious hedonism, but really it just led to a life of listening to audiobooks at 2x.

It’s not problem 1 right now but Trump promising not to tear down the White House, then breaking a bunch of laws to tear down the White House, is just such a metaphor.

Cost to hire a movie extra: $200. People at the No-Kings rally: 7 Million. Cost if the rally were full of paid actors: $1.4 Billion.

Is it more likely that someone spent $1.4 Billion to secretly hire 1% of the US, or that many people see something going seriously wrong with our country?

I know there aren’t a lot of conservatives who follow me. But just in case there are: If what Trump does becomes too much, you can impeach / remove him and still control the government. You would not be giving up the presidency. You would be deciding on a better but still conservative president.

If we see each other every other year, and I die at 70, we’ll only see each other about 12 more times.

It costs $17,000 to deport someone, according to Homeland Security. When you hear of someone being deported, ask yourself if it was worth $17,000, or if you’d rather have a $17,000 tax break. Sometimes the answer will be yes. But I’m betting there are a lot of times you’d rather have the $17,000.

Someone’s life is both good and bad things. You can’t eliminate all of someone’s bads. And you can’t fill their goods. But you can help.

That’s all anyone can ask. Remove a bad thing from someone’s life. Maybe add a good thing. If we all strove to do a little of each, what a world we would create.

Wait… so the president who owns and runs hotels is stopping immigration enforcement against hotels because his hotels are losing too many workers? How much more naked can a corrupt conflict-of-interest be?

Some climbing moves can only be done if you believe that they can be done.

And others can’t.

Life is annoying.

The Feds set a high interest rate because they want to slow down the economy. Wouldn’t higher taxes do that too? Lower interest rates, raise taxes, and use that tax money to pay off our debt.

Just timelining:

1. Trump imposed tariffs on the world as a tactic to negotiate “deals.”

2. Trump paused his tariffs in order to negotiate deals.

3. Trump doesn’t have time to negotiate, and is imposing tariffs without any deals.

4. Profit?

Go to your room and think about what you’ve done.

Wow. Trump actually said your kids will have 93% fewer toys, and what little we have left will go up in price. I guess it ‘s at the point even he can’t ignore his impacts.

Too young to drink responsibly, we convince kids to take on $100,000 debts. And then we make fun of them for spending the rest of their lives crushed under that debt.
