Today’s news underscores the American reality, this century. Power of tech, corporations have consolidated so much of American life, let us not allow any more of it to be darkened, demeaned, suppressed or otherwise devalued. I’m hopeful of what today’s news means for future of cinema, 🇺🇸 culture

Try hard to keep my use of social media and small screens, objectively focused - I don’t talk about my personal spirituality but this year we got our first American pope, and his humanity fuels so much love around globe and within art itself, nothing better could’ve happened this year 🙏🫶

Having mild eczema (me) isn’t scary. No, you can’t ever ‘catch it’, it’s an internal scar you see because of body not being able to fully develop because of environment. How? Exposure but not limited to lead, dust, hair, much more. As not enough nutrition during our development won’t help our gut

For me, end of year always means a life accounting. In almost every facet, so far all I’ve learned is how to be careful, cautious and critical. I’ve been able to experience so much that has given me so much. Thank you, all, for everything. I’m very imperfect, but I want to be better, in every way.

Last year I’ve been like a ping pong ball so I haven’t watched many movies or shows but House Of Dynamite, Highest 2 Lowest finally saw but was left unpleased. Sinners, Anemone are highest on list to come, 🔜 🤷🏼♂️

What I miss about old cinema is the conflict, or energy that a crowd would generate. The audience feels it. Tech overuse means it doesn’t feel as real, so although all this stuff makes it easier, do not let it replace what’s REAL. What’s more real than energy?
