200m World champion Noah Lyles says he plans to run the 60m at the U.S. Indoor Championships (Feb. 28 to March 1 in Staten Island, New York).

However, he is not planning on competing at the World Indoor Championships in Poland (March 20-22) due to the proximity to his wedding date in April.
WHAT A DRAMATIC FINISH 🫣

The last race of the day at the NB Indoor Grand Prix lives up to the hype, as 2024 Olympic 100m champ Noah Lyles battles 2025 World 400m silver medalist Jereem Richards over 300 meters, with Richards just outleaning Lyles 32.14 to 32.15.

🇩🇰 Wilson Kipketer's 1:42.67 indoor 800m world record was set in 1997 without a pacemaker.

200m: Kipketer 24.22 - Hoey 24.81
400m: Kipketer 50.22 (26.00) - Hoey 50.21 (25.40)
600m: Kipketer 1:16.49 (26.27) - Hoey 1:16.19 (25.99)
800m: Kipketer 1:42.67 (26.18) – Hoey 1:42.50 (26.31)
🚨 WORLD INDOOR RECORD 🚨

Paced by his brother Jaxson, World Indoor champ Josh Hoey is now the world record holder in the 800m indoors, running a ridiculous 1:42.50 at the NB Indoor Grand Prix to break Wilson Kipketer’s 28-year-old 1:42.67.

Hoey’s 600m split would’ve also won the 600m today 😅

Josh Hoey split 1:16.19 through the 600m, which is faster than Cian McPhillips' 1:16.37 winning time in the men's 600m earlier in the meet

She’s BA-A-ACK 😈

2024 World Indoor champ Elle St. Pierre returns to the track for the first time since giving birth to her second son in fantastic form, battling back and forth with Linden Hall over 3000m at the NB Indoor Grand Prix and coming out with the victory in 8:26.54.

Making the race and making history 🚀

Grant Fisher full-sends a 2000m world record attempt at the NB Indoor Grand Prix, bettering Kenenisa Bekele’s 2007 mark with a huge 4:49.48 run but getting outkicked for the record in the final lap by Hobbs Kessler, good for #2 all-time indoors.

Final 500m splits for Hobbs Kessler...
1500m to 1600m – 15.03
