I had a chance to see some Melipona seminigra stingless bees at INPA in Manaus recently, their honey's amazing!

I was surprised by how polymorphic they are. The last two photos show different colour morphs, one with an orange abdomen (merrillae type), the other is black (pernigra type, Belém) 🐝
