Also, his “wife” doesn’t exist if ANYONE was bizarre enough to make up a wife it’s Aaron Fucking Rodgers 😂

Rodgers’ last throw being a pick-six will be a fun bit of trivia in the years to come.

I love DeMeco Ryans’ energy and intensity as a coach. That team is tough and you can tell those guys love him and would run through a wall for him. Good shit.

Listening to some of Demovsky’s comments on ESPN Milwaukee from earlier today and maybe this thing isn’t a slam dunk done deal just yet with MLF coming back, some interesting points being raised.

Said this same thing here yesterday and on the pod today. Whenever he’s coached like he has something to prove he’s usually been rewarded. But he’s just not able to do it consistently. He just doesn’t have that mentality. It’s a huge problem.
Man… if we had the coach that we had in both Lions games, we’d be the Second seed planning to host the Niners.

But no… we had the guy who coached the Browns, Cowboys, Eagles, Panthers, last years divisional games, both 49er playoff games, and hired Joe Barry.

Very good point here. Doesn’t always feel like they have a great handle on their personnel to say the least.
Jordon Morgan repped-guard for 1.5 years. Belton repped at tackle this year before sanity struck and moved to guard. Maybe both are eventual busts but to spend that much time and energy playing them out of position is a…choice. Just a microcosm of the weird decisions consistently made.

That’s what the G on the helmet stands for - Good Enough. Lombardi would be THRILLED I’m sure.

I think a different coach could’ve won both the last two Bears games.
Missing the playoffs or having this type of disappointing when they aren’t missing their best defensive player & so many other important pieces. Packers season was over as soon as Parsons went down (in addition to Kraft, Wyatt, Tom, etc.), and I don’t think a different coach would change that.

I joked they should rename the Titletown District to Seventh Seed City 😂
Since GB clearly isn't Titletown anymore...let's rename all the streets around Lambeau: Wild Card Way, 7 Seed Street, Second Half Collapse Boulevard.

It’s funny that he’s gonna get a pass largely because of the injuries. That to me has to be the only reason they’re overlooking this season and talking extension. So if they’re healthy next year and suffer another gut punch playoff loss, then they’d make a change? Somehow I don’t see it then either.
January 12, 2026 at 7:28 PM
Also, and I don’t say this often, but I think this is one of the best shows I’ve ever done. So I’d love it if you checked this out.

A team unable to handle adversity. A team that has collapsed down the stretch two years in a row now. A team that consistently folds once it’s punched in the face. That’s what I mean by soft.
I'm not sure what it means for this team to be "soft". Is it MLF's appearance/voice? RG's lack of effort? Players getting injured (unavoidable, btw)?

Either way, the solution to opponents grating cheese on prime time postgame broadcasts is for the team to lean heavily into meat packer aesthetic:

NFL history shows repeatedly that if a coach is gonna win a SB in a place, it’s happened by now. I just don’t see him as the guy who’s gonna buck that overwhelming trend.
100% correct. It all starts at the top. Matt is a good coach but I don't see him getting this team to a Super Bowl. I think we have enough evidence after 7 years.

Maybe but the problem is the overall culture of this team. It’s very soft. Hiring some new assistants and keeping MLF to me stinks of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
LaFleur needs some new assistants and they need to pay for experience not promotions from within. OL, OC, DC, ST. Should be part of negotiations. Fresh perspectives are needed. Who knows, maybe MLF has been asking for this.
January 12, 2026 at 4:50 PM
My guess is Rich will retire. But who knows? I could see them run it back too.
God, they’re gonna keep Rich aren’t they? Just blame it all solely on McManus.

The coping has already begun in this fanbase because Midwesterners will do ANYTHING to avoid expressing their true emotions especially if they’re mad 😂
January 12, 2026 at 3:20 PM
Alright fuck it I’ll add this: If this is a longterm deal (it is) they won’t be firing for at least three years, probably four. So get ready he ain’t going anywhere for a long time. Plenty more seven seeds and frustrating playoff losses to come still!
January 12, 2026 at 2:40 PM
Everything I’d say about this LaFleur news is stuff I talked about on the podcast today. So, go ahead and listen to it if you care to hear my thoughts 😀

McVay's team won a tough one on the road, Shanahan's team won a tough one on the road against the defending champs, LaFleur.....WELLLLL......
January 12, 2026 at 12:44 AM
My frustration though is that we saw it in Detroit on Thanksgiving. He coached completely unafraid and was rewarded with a huge win! He just doesn’t have it in him to be that guy consistently and that’s the biggest problem.
I like Kurt Benkert, he’s a good follow on FB. And I agree. Like I said last night, the “all gas, no fucking brakes” Matt LaFleur seems years ago.
January 11, 2026 at 10:45 PM
I’d be more than happy with him as the new coach.
Stefanski. Stefanski has been given the shit end of the stick by the Browns regime. He would actually get to have a good QB for the first time in his life. If he brings Schwartz as the DC, that would be even better. The Browns are a nasty, nasty defense. Micah will be the new Garrett.
January 11, 2026 at 4:53 PM
Also, Schefter’s report was basically Harbaugh’s agent saying “John really wants that GB job” much more than it was saying the Packers have any real interest. Keep that in mind.
