I digitally investigate stuff, somehow my findings travel from spreadsheets to international media and research collectives; views are my own.

When my grandfather died in 2004, I was 11. At his home in Nijmegen I found a battered briefcase, unopened for years. Inside: photos, consular forms and letters — a history of falling empire, colonial decoupling and rising nationalism that marked those who lived it.

“Just like we did in Gaza,” says Steve Witkoff while he later continues, “I have the deepest respect for President Putin.” As mentioned before, both of these ‘plans’ give legitimacy to colonialism and it’s the double standards who have emboldened them to be able to do so.

About 90,000 people living near larger chemical plants face an unacceptable risk of developing cancer, the EPA says.

New rules adopted last year could’ve cut that number to 3,000 residents — a drop of 97%.

But Trump has halted those efforts.
Air Pollution From Industrial Facilities Is Far Worse Than Estimated
The Trump administration has put a stop to EPA rules that would have required more than 130 industrial facilities to install air monitors to measure pollution. Millions of people living near these pla...

Gaza after the ceasefire is defined by the ‘yellow line’ — drawn by Israel, and dividing the strip in two.

Our evidence suggests that Israel seeks to make the line permanent, as ‘reconstruction’ plans normalise this new stage of Israel’s occupation: frames.forensic-architecture.org/gaza/ceasefire

Germany uses the excuse of the ’ceasefire’ which Israel routinely violates to sell weapons to Israel again. Israel is being rewarded for committing genocide by the country that pretends to have learned from the holocaust.

It should have been as clear as day some time ago that Europe should stop catering to the US and instead learn to stand firmly on it’s own feet. Ukraine deserves most respect for having continuously resisted the Russian occupier despite all this.

"Winning justice for Palestinians—and the enduring security that Jewish Israelis claim to want—will require reckoning with this entrenched national ethos of denial. Until we are finally willing to remember the horrors we’ve already wrought, there will surely be more to come."
"The past two years of continuous violence made Gaza impossible to ignore, requiring more active modes of forgetting—and now a concerted effort to solidify a whitewashed national narrative that exonerates Israel of wrongdoing."

Israel’s “yellow line” in 2025 isn’t new. As Salman Abu Sitta reminds us, Gaza has been repeatedly compressed: from 555 km² in 1950 to 365 km² under a “temporary” line that became permanent. Every new buffer zone continues the incremental erasure of Gaza’s already tiny land area.
