A version of 'git status', but it would be 'dev status' and it would tell you how far ahead the code is of your understanding of it.

Signs that there's at least one nerd in your household: The proposal is on the table to create commonly used documents (and templates) in $markupLanguage and put them in git, so everybody can use their own version, and even could fork the repo.

Please tell me it’s totally normal to light only the second candle, because the height difference between candle 1 and candle 2 is clearly bigger than between candle 2 and candle 3!

Today I gave my workshop "GitHub Actions in action" for a very engaged group of people at Testing United.
Tomorrow conference day, lots of promosing talks I'm looking forward to.

Changing wheels 🛞 on the car 🚗 has only to be done twice a year, and it's one of those activities I would like to procrastinate on for months, although it's done in less then 45 minutes. ⏲️ 🙈
Luckily, for this autumn it's now done.

I'm brainstorming with the help of Claude on things to discuss with workshop participants, what questions to ask.
Interestingly, it doesn't headline them "Questions", "Points to discuss" or the like, but "Prompts". Is it assuming my participants will be LLMs? 🤔

Wednesday, 5 pm: It feels like I'm close to solve this coding issue.
Wednesday, 5:30 pm: I quit, I've been at the desk for 10 hours, and I have other things to do.
Thursday, 9 am: Two more hours into fixing the issue, and it feels like I'm nowhere close to solving it!

Random thought: Lots of people have different understanding of the same terms. Working in a team, we sooner or later (hopefully) come to common understanding of the terminology used.
In a conference talk, explaining what you mean by certain terms is crucial so the audience understands your message!

One of my team mates (an absolute Lord of the Rings (LOTR) overnerd) recently starting to close all meetings with "Merry Christmas", "Happy Easter" and the like.
I asked him a simple question about that.
