Also, maybe I'm generally just slow when it comes to UTAU creation. I've always wanted to use methods that are quick to record because like most UTAU users, I don't have enough time for vocal synth stuff sometimes.

Ever since I have used CVVC, I feel like that format is a "work smarter not harder" method. Cuz I think it's revolutionary that users can make good UTAUs with a small library of samples (around 30-40 samples if they're doing an 8-mora CVVC).

I guess I'm just turned off by how so much of it needs to be oto'd (around 900-1000 oto entries for a complete VCV bank). I feel like it's such a time waster even tho there are other methods that can give effective results just like VCV. Even CVs can be pretty decent if the oto is done properly.

Thinking of switching to different UTAU English methods because I'm starting to get frustrated with ARPAsing and can't make it work sometimes. I'll probably lean onto methods that are similar to X-SAMPA, I'm more fond of them now ever since I have used some VBs that utilize it.
