Eurasian collared dove coming in for a landing, its light gray body and dark tipped wing and tail feathers on full display. Here in Oregon, they are branded an invasive species. Humans are rather invasive too, though, and we're okay with that.

It's morning but not everyone is up. Sleepers sleep while those awake keep watch.

Steller's Jay keeps silent watch over sleeping goat in the morning. If the Jay sees something, its loud squawking will awaken the goat. Thus the goat sleeps peacefully, knowing the Jay is awake.

This morning, I got a photo of the underside. And it's even bigger, I swear.

Giant mushroom, perhaps from Alice in Wonderland, but I'm Sandlake Farm. Someone on another platform suggested it might be Amnita Cesearia... Or something. I don't know what that means.
