I don't like fireworks or light shows ahead of football matches. Even music. Let fans create the atmosphere.

And all the comment pieces that will say: "This is a sensible budget", "This budget is a start but doesn't go far enough", and "This is the most disastrous budget in the history of everything".
All that’s now left is to avoid all the fucking podcast episodes and news shows analysis of ‘what the budget means for you’.

OK, the markets aren't spooked and it seems to be a relatively soft-progressive #Budget, but, most importantly...

How will it affect the price of Freddos?

It tracks that what some political commentators are calling Badenoch's "finest hour" in the commons, is a speech full of vindictive personal insults, patronising hyperbole and very little self-awareness...

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

I still don't get the love for The Last Jedi. There are some nice visuals, a couple of interesting plot details, but other than that it is very much a modern Disney-type film, not a Star Wars film. No-one acts/talks consistent with what came before.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

Before this season started, what were Tottenham fans' expectations for what would constitute a good campaign, given the changes?

I think while expecting a transitional, difficult season was hopeful of a top-7 finish and a serious cup run, with a strong Jan-May showing. Still could have that. #COYS
