I wonder how judges will feel about Kavanaugh Stops?

"The intern was reportedly shaken, so [Superior Court Judge] McBurney offered to drive him home. ICE agents then surrounded the judge’s car and demanded everyone to exit the vehicle, threatening to smash in the windows if they did not comply."

Inspired to re-read "At the Fishhouses," Elizabeth Bishop's 1947 poem, by a wonderful Jorie Graham appreciation in the New Yorker.

When I first read the poem i wrote in margin, "direct, clear, unpretentious speech and then at the end she goes all apocalyptic on your ass." (poem link in comment)
Jorie Graham on Elizabeth Bishop’s “At the Fishhouses”
The poem confirmed the ascent of a rare new voice—a mesmerizing voice that became indispensable to American verse.

This is very good and very informative and if establishment Democrats were interested they could learn an important message.
A few days after the presidential election one year ago, we went to Fordham Road in the Bronx.

It was a little different last week.

The newsletters go out quarterly and contain thoughts on current art and ideas, and information on recent work in the studio and upcoming events. Please sign up if you enjoy it.

Jamelle Bouie lays it out. The "inevitability" is a facade.

This message so important to keep in mind, and it's why I have zero tolerance for doomers on this platform or elsewhere.

Keep working, keep connecting, keep pressuring your reps, keep showing up, keep resisting.

"Stand up, and say no."
