Der Baum hat einen sehr dicken, robusten Stamm mit einer rauen, tief gefurchten, grau- bis dunkelbraunen Rinde.
Die Krone ist weit ausladend und locker.
Das Laub besteht aus gefiederten Blättern, die dem Baum eine leichte und luftige Erscheinung verleihen. Im Herbst färbt sich das Laub goldgelb.
Der Baum steht allein auf einer grünen Wiese, die von weiteren Bäumen und Büschen umgeben ist.
