I think suddenly I need it to be 2026 . . .

The underbelly peek, I need him...

Yes I do actually wear a nose strip even during the daytime sometimes, I love being able to breathe through my nose... and yes I did make myself a bunch of Ikuhan emojis to use on Discord

I decided to do a refsheet for Ikuhan! Feel free to ask any questions about him/me (I didn't take a whole lot of creative liberties, he's just a little bit fatter. A little bit!)
A ref sheet for Ikuhan, a fat monkey furry with pale skin, brown fur and gold and white stripes. He's got short spiky hair, wire frame glasses, and bandages on his nose and tail.

His height is 6'-something, his weight is fat, his hobbies are cooking, art, programming, music, gardening, and gaming, and his favourite colours are cerulean, chartreuse, dusty rose, cyan, and warm brown.

If you help him change out of his snowsuit he'll treat you to hot cocoa and cinnamon bread
A humanoid dragon guy with a few cyan scales scattered around pale skin. He's got spiky white hair with red tips and stubby horns. His snowsuit is taken off down to his thighs showing his boxer-briefs, and he has one hand behind his head. He's flushed from the cold.

Ice dragon! He's a great snowboarder and his breath always smells a little bit like peppermint. His favourite dish is an extra spicy bowl of curry
A chubby guy with pointed ears, blunt horns and a blue tail. He's got pale skin flushed red from the cold, dotted with cyan scales, and spiky white hair tipped red-orange. His eyes are cyan and yellow but honestly I'm not sure if the yellow is all that visible

After @thegilamonstar.bsky.social and @fenrirwolfen.bsky.social 's Monster Con stream, I decided to draw some Dougs! Including an extra-Doug'd-up Doug, for 125% more Doug per Doug.
Three drawings of Doug from Monster Con, a humanoid slime boy. One of the drawings is extra fat.

It's not a huge fraction of the population, but it's close to double digits -- it's way more than people think. But because it's stigmatized not many people are very open about it, so nobody ever finds out how many other people are in the same camp. The internet made it way more open.

And that is how much olive oil I'll use in a week too

Big mistake. I'd make even better fried salmon... 😢

Sorry, um, there's not really any other place to put it
A very fat monkey at the grocery store checkout aisle, resting his belly on the conveyor belt, because those aisles are really not that wide, unless you are at Costco or something where they've got the plus size big boy shopping carts

A fat guy with a few piercings, a torn shirt, and dark circles under his eyes.

(Just be sure to get some white paper stickers to swatch the marker colours onto to put on the Ohuhu caps. Their cap colours are questionable.)
chubbysokka.bsky.social
Oh yeah, they're def expensive. I basically started out with very few colours and I've been adding to my collection for over a decade at this point. I guess it's a selling point they haven't dried out! The Ohuhus are quite good though and noticeably less expensive.

I use Copic and Ohuhu alcohol markers, with Sakura Micron pens for lining, and recently I've been using a white Copic Acrea paint marker to outline as well! (I can't recommend it though, the paint doesn't come out well at all... maybe I got a dud.)
