Whenever I hear freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences is a liar and a dangerous one.

That any result of any sort of terrible thing that happens from it is exclusively the victim's fault

Heck whenever you quote science at anybody they tend to resist. They will not hold space for what they call a cockroach. Why should they? New ideas and cockroaches feel the same way as being attacked and chased by a tiger

But that's the thing people hate what they don't understand or maybe they do understand it just differently. Worth have a really bad understanding of us and who we are and everything else. People are emotional not reasonable. And it's not like I can't blame them especially with topics like this

Today I look at the cancel culture on the right (mirroring 2020 on the left) that has arisen in the wake of #KirkAssassination.

Some online responses to the murder have been gross. But I worry about giving power to either mobs or the government to censor speech.

I think you'll have to explain and no small detail on how it is in common with what happened in 2020 and how this ties together. I'm not sure people would be understanding or receptive to that. You may have to write several versions

it's what it is. although she did oppose the gas energy ban... i mean i'm all for the environment but if our winters ever get harsh. electricity isn't going to cut it when the power goes out.

and the reworking of stoves and the like is an impicit poor tax when there's no structure for transition

i'm using fariness doctorine very lossely here not as an official rule but also as good praxis for journalism.

Journalism isn't to tell people what to think. that's for opinion pices, education, and proselytization and activism...

Yeah and show up to these meetings. Talk to these people and make your own stuff. And since makes can no longer discriminate based on reputation there might be something you can use. Also if you're not at the table you're on the menu

Perhaps the better question is to ask how many Publishers there are. And what they can and cannot allow along with the restrictions of certain countries being internationally applied and just choking things out for the quote unquote Global audience

Sadly the fairness Doctrine is still a thing and they have to get the opinions of all those considered. That said I think you can post an op-ed criticizing them in their own paper. After all you are the expert and I think they should hear you out

Yeah certainly not video games or depictions. I've never been a fan of cultivation Theory because it's been proven bunk. And certainly is a good distraction for people who want to feel like they're making change instead I've actually making a change. Easier to change symbols than actual work
