Hello #BlueSky. I'm a 54, living with an energy limiting illness #LongCovid. I used to be a runner and long distance hiker, among other things. I am fortunate to be well enough to work, and sometimes well enough to still have adventures, I usually pay for them with long periods of ill health. 1/2
After 2 months of Sciatica in one leg with no real relief even from pregabalin & a year wait to get physio on the NHS (and basically GPs saying we cannot send you for any scans to find the root of the issue until I have seen a physiotherapist) - now I appear to have it starting in the other leg. Yay

Now it's back to #WorldChampionshipSnooker and catching up with #ZhaoXintong 's match from this morning. He is definitely my new favourite. What a talent! Reminds me of #StephenHendry in his prime days - the first snooker player to really grab my attention.

Finally got around to watching S02E02 of #TheLastofUs, wow that was a brutal episode wasn't it. Also thrilled to see #RaceAcrosstheWorld is back. Someone once asked me to apply to that with them, I watched it and I got hooked. Then COVID and #LongCovid happened & we never applied. Maybe one day.

How is everyone's Saturday shaping up? I've tackled some housework, working on my websites & watching #snooker. I used to be an avid fan, but lapsed over the last 20 years - though I still watch now and again. Boy you know you are old when there are older players you have never even heard of!

Well, thanks to Trump and his lunatic tariffs, the pension I am due to claim from this year, has decreased in value by 20%! 20 frickin percent. That's a massive loss. And I need the pension to plug a small gap in the pay drop I am about to incur by taking a job that is better for my health. #sucks
