Sat in the evening Sun with this Belgian Wild Dry Cider. It’s 7.5% and has been matured on port wood whisky barrels that were previously used for Lambic.

A stressful day in the office can only mean one thing, cider o’clock! This is Townsend Farm’s Wild Ferment #3 made with 25% Dabinett from 2023 (Windfalls), 25% Gilly from 2021 and 50% Dabinett from 2024 which were all grown on the their farm in Herefordshire.

Incase you wondered, I got talking and then cider happened so who knows but… what I do know is that I had a Ross-on-Wye, a Haywood, a Temple ad 2x Oliver's including the Shazam and the Dabinett but I forgot if there was out else! Soz bout that!

Next up, #BraysCider Farmhouse Dry (6%) from #Taunton way. It’s not so dry IMHO. It actually tastes a little sweetened to me. Quite snooth and more of tangy than tannic.
