So....if you are single and pregnant, you cannot get an abortion, but you can't get health care if you are unmarried. Will they mandate marriages to 14 yo girls now?
...2 Having access to communication through a neutral, interpreter enables the student to put forth their own thoughts, opinions and even their mistakes. The interpreter is not there to edit or correct either person's -hearing or deaf-communication but is there to ensure ease of communication.
In the classroom, a deaf student having access to signed language interpreting can give them independence. How? The deaf student does not 'depend' on the interpreter in the same way the non-deaf teacher does not 'depend' on the interpreter. .../2
