With Pokemon branching out and making things like the Legends games, I really do want a game where you more or less play as someone like Cynthia.

Let me start the game as the Champion and work to thwart the villain team as they try to overtake the Pokemon League or something.

Unown in the movies sending people to the shadow realm and quite literally *creating* legendary Pokemon.

It's wild how in game they may as well be Zubats.

Heck, they're worse than Zubats because at least you can turn those into Crobats.

Hm. Yeah, it looks like Sony owns the IP so From can't do anything with it without their go ahead but like...

It's weird Sony is shooting themselves in the foot by doing nothing with it. 🤔

It is very weird to me that they haven't at least ported BB or made it backwards compatible.

Granted I don't know what all goes into that, but given some of the games that have had that done, I can't imagine Sony / From not being able to.

That's fair, but we have reached a point where new games aren't coming out on old platforms anymore.

With PS6 they're saying a few years and by that time I would be stunned if anyone released games on PS4 still because it really isn't happening even now.

Well, we're getting MMO legally distinct Bloodborne 2 at some point. 😅

Unfortunately I think that's as close as we're getting for that.

Exactly! Even with the 360/PS3 I got the 360 because it's what my friends had. Exclusives were only a factor when a cool game was announced and we were either excited because it was on our console, or bummed because it wasn't.

That isn't a problem anymore, but people act like they want it back.

for some reason and I cannot fathom why since it's *only* a negative outcome for us to have more exclusive games and be required to get more consoles if we want to play exclusive titles.

I get that, but that's more of a thing for the corporate end of things. How well a console sells doesn't consumers at all.

What does impact me is games that I want to play being locked to a console I don't own. It's good for the consumer that this practice is going away, consumers want it back now

True but I could say the same thing with PC

I don't have a reason to spend a bunch of money updating my PC when I already have my PS5, but that doesn't mean PC is some kind of worthless thing when it comes to gaming.

I missed out on so many great games during the 360 era because of exclusivity.

I don't understand why we suddenly want to go back to cool games that you want to play being locked behind buying a $600 console.

Seeing PS6 news always brings out the "PS5 has no games" people and it's so interesting to me because if the PS5 has no games, I'm not sure what I've been doing on my PS5 almost every day. Because apparently it's not playing video games according to these people.
