According to this morning’s NYTimes, at least two of the Brown University students on campus during yesterday’s (Dec 13) fatal mass shooting had survived ANOTHER school shooting in their past.

Greatest Threat To Democracy? Unfair/meaningless elections.

We must approach each day with these questions: What can we do to protect free and fair elections? How can we counter what the GOP is doing? How can we advance the voting rights of every eligible citizen and ensure their ballots are accurately counted and elections properly certified?

I watched Rachel Maddow and Tim Snyder's TV special last night. A big takeaway: simply posting online stuff that does not translate to action in the physical world is NOT meaningful Resistance. I needed that reminder. Am still chewing on next steps, but ordered 100 whistles to wear and share.
