I love the surprise and outrage when a Republican confirms who they are. It's as though some people are in a continual state of denial about the lack of compassion and empathy until it's exposed. The Republican party stands for survival of the "fittest" and wanting the weak culled from the flock.

Insightful article. I have a take on Trump. The very traits that propel a narcissist to the top—boundless self-confidence, ruthless showmanship, disdain for constraints—also set them on a collision course with reality. Their mistakes aren’t random; they’re baked into the narcissistic playbook.

Even if you could show that a sitting President traded tariff policy for private gain, federal prosecutors won’t indict him while in office—OLC policy forbids it, and the Constitution limits removal to impeachment. Criminal charges must wait until he’s out of the Oval Office. 🤥
