A lot of my OP ships fall into this.
I'm not really into happily-ever-afters + I don't see romance as an end (exes who stay friends is so good).
I also have a thing for angst so I love to explore unhappy marriages (you know who). It offers more options to dig into various characters dynamics too!

I think when it comes to shipping or fictional romance in general you have to free yourself from the shackles of thinking it should always end in a loving marriage. sometimes they have earth shattering sex and then don't talk about it or speak to each other for 10 years and that's AWESOME!!!

Here's a little tip if you find yourself getting frustrated with drawing the haircuts of Gachiakuta characters: just remember all the cosplayers who will have an even worse time figuring out how to make the wigs 👍
