It’s okay to need help. Life leaves marks, some marks fade but some stay tender. You need a safe space to talk, to be heard, to heal.

My reading list focuses mainly on neurodivergent conditions and queerness, as those are my areas of interest (especially the intersection between both).
Here's a selection of the books I have about queerness.

'Understanding Emotional Problems: The REBT Perspective' by
#WindyDryden is useful to me as I’m #REBT trained and it helps develop a deeper understanding of emotional problems. A straight-forward book written by an expert in the field.

I'm working on my final submission right now while working with in-person clients in my clinical placement.
80,000+ words by mid-May!

So. Much. Work. 😱😅

My reading: ‘Sex, Sexuality and the Autism Spectrum’ by Wen Lawson. This book I struggled with unfortunately. I’d say the title is quite misleading as it offered little more than a very personal description of the author’s relationships, gender experiences and interactions. Very little insight 🫤
My reading: I love this fantastic, well written book by #drlukebeardon exploring the complexity and variety of autistic experience and challenging the disorder classification of Autism. Definitely a book that I will refer to time after time.

This is easily the best book recommendation Beverley. My clients love it.
My Supervisor recommended this book to me and I absolutely love it. I’ve been recommending it to all of my clients and they love it too.
