Our friends dropped off a huge care package while I'm recovering and isolated. They even included treats for Pebs and new bookmarks for The Kid π
Having extremely disabled friends isnt always easyβwe know that. There is burden! But sometimes the right ppl come into our lives, and it's everything.

Hubs and I absolutely love living New Mexico, including the laid back culture here.
But there is no gentle middle ground between the maΓ±ana culture here and the hurry-up-and-wait culture we brought from the East Coast. There's a collision in parking lots when somehow we are EARLY AGAIN.

We have to go to A Thing tomorrow, and the organizer reached out to make sure I'll have the access and space I need to stay safe/well.

My autoimmune disease is progressive and terminal; it will make me blind, paralyze me completely, end my life. I have to constantly battle back against it, and I've been doing the bare minimum for years because of cost. I need more, and I need help.
