I made the most of a sleepless night and headed up the Wrekin for sunrise.
A lovely brisk morning with the moon glowing as I walked up and some lovely golden light as the sun rose up.
The difficult part was heading back down knowing work was waiting.

A tree atop the Wrekin hill, locally affectionately called the lone tree sits under a partially cloudy sunset sky.

Looking out across the Wrekin toposcope as the sun sets across the Shropshire landscape.

The transmitter mast on the Wrekin. Whilst not exactly photogenic the mast makes for some nice hill top furniture to feature in photos.
