It’s independents all the way for me, only issue is in my hometown there is only a Waterstones, so I can’t go in and have a browse and a coffee, which is one of my favourite things to do 🤷‍♀️
I just now always have a book with me, so that I can still read and grab a drink at a lovely coffee shop ❤️

I hope they were in awe of me, but yes I was brought up not to bother others, a smile and a hello are usually what I say, unless we are stood together at the buffet table and start talking.
What I objected to was the constant not too subtle looks, but it’s a while ago now🤷‍♀️
