Getting under his skin was more than a little fun. And she knew he wouldn’t totally give her that satisfaction. Clark was annoying. And himself. And sometimes that was nice and sometimes it was annoying. Sugar was Lois’s vice. That was clear. “ so how’s your cross wo- I mean work.”
