A fotografia de hoje representa um dia triste. Tirada depois da última partida na Estação Nova.

Desde pequeno que frequentava esta estação. Na bilheteira havia quem me conhecesse desde bebé.

A partir de agora, o meu comboio pára em Coimbra-B. Para melhor ou pior o tempo dirá.
We bones that are here await yours.

"Nos ossos que aqui estamos pelos vossos esperamos."

At the Capela dos Ossos, around 5000 corpses were used to decorate the walls.

I took this photo 10 months ago, during the last day of operations of the Coimbra-A rail station. Nowadays, no tracks and overhead wires exist, as the rail connection to the main station of Coimbra is being replaced by a much better system, under the name of Metro Mondego. #photography #rail #past
To mark this week ending in the Day of the Dead, here is a photo that I took at the Catacombs of Paris. Here, the remains of more than six million people rest below the grounds of Paris.

While driving on the scenic Utah State Road 24, many beautiful mesas can be seen. This one is North Caineville Mesa, right next to the famous Factory Butte of Utah.

Triple exposure, but shaky and ghostly.

This photo was taken with a very old Olympus 6×6 camera, and the camera would change its position every time the shutter was pressed.

I took this photo from a parking spot in the Arches National Park. The outcome quickly turned into my favorite photo I ever took. I love the contrast between the crimson gravel, the blue sky, and the green bushes. Oh, and the fade of the desert as it extends into the horizon!

In 2021, Figueira da Foz hosted an F1H2O Grand Prix. In this Formula 1 series, extremely fast powerboats race, capable of doing 0-100 in under two seconds and of reaching speeds over 250km/h.

I took a photo of Jonas Andersson's powerboat, moments before he won the Grand Prix. 🚤
Sim! já estive nesta mesa :P
Parece que a Apple utilizou uma carruagem Sorefame de 2ª Classe para a apresentação dos AirPods Pro 3? 😅

Ao fundo parece ser a Ponte Vasco da Gama 🤔
From a few years ago, when the Lima River was a bit dried up.
Sunny or rainy, this Mexican hat prevails against all.
The iconic Eiffel Tower, standing 330 meters tall since 2022 with a new DAB+ antenna at its tip.

Continuing my Utah photo streak, check out these goblins!

I love the contrast between the red hoodoos and the towering gray mesa in the back. This is one of the beautiful sights in Goblin Valley State Park. 🐿️
To mark the #WorldPhotographyDay, I am sharing one of my cherished photos, captured at the Capitol Reef National Park. I set my analog medium format camera on the ground, capturing the iconic Fruita Barn against the stunning backdrop of the towering crimson cliffs.
I can still vividly remember my arrival at Cedar Breaks National Monument at the beginning of my Southwestern US trip: driving along the scenic SR 14; the rain had just ceased; the scent of juniper trees (not cedar!) filled the air; and the crimson rock formations towered afar 🧡
