Supporting potters working from Community studios to sell their work instead of giving it away or stacking it in a closet.
About a week in on our new site and have made two sales. Happy about that (full disclosure they were friends and family but hey they were sales!)
Finding it hard to describe everything succinctly but going to make a visit to ChatGPT to see if it can help!

Picked up some great pots from another potter today. Plan to have a soft launch by Monday! So great to see hand built/hand thrown work coming forward from these makers working in community studios. Will share more soon!

Finishing up getting products into Shopify for the site. Still need to shoot photos of the last potter’s work. She chose our “Studio Select” option where we do all the selling work - photos, posting, shipping, advertising - all for a 40% commission. Launching soon!

1/2 Originally thought I’d build a marketplace for weekend potters like me who wouldn’t want the responsibility of maintaining their own site or Etsy store but would still like to sell their work- “if it’s good enough.” Keep it lo-fi…I’d host the site and do some social…but…

First post for this new biz. Figured I’d try the build along with me tact. Getting ready to launch a site specifically made for potters working, teaching, firing in, or supporting community clay studios to sell their stuff and support other potters and studios. Come with me!
