The Legendary Axe concept mockup. Been a while since I made one of these. Research was tough. I have no connection to the game or the turbografx-16 whatsoever, but the final boss being a weird and unsettling merger of confused cavemen held together by an eldric mass was captivating.

Some screen filter options I've added to Rog & Roll - choose between the warm nostalgic CRT filter, soothing Gameboy green, and the eye-searing Virtual Boy red that gamers crave (apparently? I guess???)

I see so many indie game devs tearing their hair out worrying whether their incredible passion projects are worth $20 or not and it's really funny sometimes to be reminded what a company like Nintendo thinks $20 is worth

I would get so excited for his issues as a kid, both because the art was great and because it felt like he was the one guy at Archie who actually played the Sonic games and was stoked to be doing that job
