Oscar Wilde said it’s better to be beautiful than to be good. Since this administration is NEITHER, how did they get to this position! Such a pathetic lineup is bringing down the most powerful country in the world. He continues: “but it’s better to be good than to be ugly”. So maybe there’s hope.

ICE is funded by the Federal Government, and the US is recognized as a global STATE (think Marco Rubio, Secretary of STATE, or the STATE Department). ICE is a STATE funded terrorist organization, but the feds, not individual states.

Gavin Newsom says ICE is not a state sponsored terrorist organization. It's disappointing to realize that he will say whatever his audience of the day wants to hear.

"Oxford Languages" defines "state" as "a nation...under one government." ICE has been called a state sponsored terrorist organization. It's sponsored by the US feds, a "state" and it causes terror, illegally. It's a STATE SPONSORED TERRORIST ORGANIZATION, by definition.

It's pretty obvious that most hard core conservatives suffer from absolute inviolable stupidity, and will never see the truth. The ones that need convincing are the people who are ignorant, but perhaps not stupid.

If the problems of the world seem beyond us, and all we can do is fight the issues within our reach, then that's what we should do. Open our doors to neighbours, volunteer to work with community groups, and remember, if we're not angry, we're not paying attention.

What really scares me about all this is the attitude of people who say they aren't getting involved because they aren't into politics. How fucking blind can people be! This is way past politics. It's global crisis and the edge of dystopia.

Equality and acceptance is not a zero sum game. It's so obvious that everybody wins. Why the hell does anybody care about their neighbours skin colour, religion, ethnic background, language!

When this long dark global nightmare finally ends, the world can start putting the pieces back together. It will take a very long time, and it will be difficult, but hopefully we're not at the point of no return.
