I am running the Aramco Half Marathon to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and help cure childhood cancer.

Not going to lie. I was shooting for a PR. Previous best was 2:09:34 in College Station five years ago. Smashed it with a 2:07:59.

I’ll post pics and videos later. I’m tired and hurting.

But it’s a good hurt.

Last long run with this group. I joined Runner’s High Club mid season. I’ve made more friends in this group in three months than I would have thought possible. I am grateful to the coaches and my teammates.

The miles are in the bank. Next Sunday is the fun part. LFG.

Long run with my Runner’s High Club friends. Four miles at or quicker than race pace (9:50). Played it conservative on the back end in the 100% humidity.
