Watching Samurai Champloo and overhearing a lot of heavy sighs over the big football game and the many AI commercials sandwiched between plays. Before this, I did my weekly Facebook check-in and had to weed through ChatGPT photos just to catch up on the local news. Has the bubble popped yet? Can it?

I think something the ai slop crowd dont seem to understand is that 99.99% of games/books etc never find an audience. There is close to zero chance low quality shit, no matter how fast and how much you make, is going to end up a winner under these conditions.

My favorite streamer is a woman over 70 who crochets. Her son helped set up her stream before he passed away, and now she does it all on her own. I think of her every time I want to chuck my laptop out a window over some small thing like trying to understand why my audio stutters in OBS.

You can only download 500 files at a time from iCloud, so if anyone needs me, I'll be crying quietly in a corner over the 25,000+ files that I'm very slowly moving.
Sharing for anyone who'd like to reduce their dependence on Apple products. Also sharing for me because I've already spent an obscene amount of time today trying to move my photos to an external hard drive only to realize there are still a bunch not backed up, and I'll need to remember this. 🙃
How to Transfer Photos from iCloud to External Drive
It is a good practice to periodically transfer photos from iCloud to External Drive, in order to free up iCloud Storage and have an additional backup.
