Not sure if this is current but it appears they still intend to log Tuckers Knob.. it is the forest west of Bellingen and Coffs Harbour. FFS Minns, it should all be part of what's left of our sadly diminished Koala safe zone. What kinda mind, exploits a dwindling, nationally iconic species?

Australia’s koala paradox: why is the beloved marsupial endangered in parts but overabundant in others?

In one respect, declining koala populations and overabundance are two sides of the same coin – both addressable through landscape-scale restoration of habitat.
Australia’s koala paradox: why is the beloved marsupial endangered in parts but overabundant in others?
There are so many koalas in some places that food is the issue – while elsewhere populations are threatened by habitat loss. And there are no easy fixes
