It can be incredibly hard to see your progress when recovering from depression or burnout. The whole world keeps demanding certain benchmarks of you to the point that it’s easy to feel like a failure despite your hard work. Remember your progress is your own journey. Every win means something.

I can't stress enough how much "The Wind in the Willows" has become one of my all time favourite pieces of fiction. Yes, it's a VERY middle class story of country life but then you get poetic chapters like "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" and its just:
