House Republicans canceled all votes that would lead to negotiations, since September, prior to the shutdown. Speaker Johnson canceled votes for next week too. Democrats are ready to negotiate on a bipartisan path forward, but Republicans have refused to engage. They’re acting like toddlers.

2/ Why would our government join a fight to PROTECT child abusers? The fight for religious freedoms should not override a child’s freedom to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness, nor provide cover for criminals. Yet our government chose religion over abused children.
