Quick intro, as I never did one here or at the Other Place: originally from the United Kipperdom of Brexitania, but lived Elsewhere for most of my life, in Japan since the Lehman Shock (but first visit in Heisei 4). Live on a homestead on the Daikon Prairie in the west of Tokyo's 23ku.

For once I'm ahead of the trend as I carry my 2021 mid-range Android around in a pair of old Y-fronts (properly washed of course, I'm not a barbarian).

For once I'm ahead of the trend as I carry my 2021 mid-range Android around in a pair of old Y-fronts (properly washed of course, I'm not a barbarian).
Having clicked on the red button link, the internet is now doubling down on its efforts, pitching the red button in every square inch of advertising space. Often accompanied by those 3 and 4 button "keyboards" (about which I note the 4-key version offers much better value-per-key).

Curious as to just how Showa this train is, some digging reveals it is a former Keio line train built from around 1959, purchased third-hand from the Iyo Tetsudo in Ehime.
The train to the Showa Era is now arriving at platform number one.

Sad news from Inubosaki - the Godzilla hatchery (picture on the left from May 2006, my previous visit to the area) is being demolished, so where Tokyo will get its city-munching Kaiju from now, I do not know.

Seems that it is currently "Thinking About Tax Week" (税を考える週間) in the Greater Choshi area, so the local school children have been busy doing just that.
