Voted for Wario Land here. No new game since 2008 is just crazy to me.
I always got the impression that this was meant to test the waters for a possible ‘open world’ 3D Mario platformer, and that the next big game will use a similar structure.
Bowser’s Fury is still amazing in its own right though. Such a good game.

I think I've discovered something interesting, but I have no idea what it implies:
On Nintendo's Account Portal, there's an unused model code under the name "OSM". (The Switch 2's model code is BEE.)
The portal has images for each Switch model, and requesting OSM returns an image of a Switch 2.

If you have a discord for documentation or research, whether for software or whatever, please please put some effort into backing up info somewhere else. So many entire communities efforts will just implode if something happens to discord

Have to be honest, my biggest challenge when trying to work on anything (#gamedev especially) is feature/scope creep.
I find it more fun to code features than design levels or create content, and struggle to make do with what’s already there.

If you’re a fan of the Mario RPGs and don’t own either of these games, this price is one hell of a steal. The Mario RPGs remake is incredible, and Brothership is a really good game if you stick with it.
